Nursery netting is tubular knitted mesh used to sleeve, protect, and bundle plant material during handling, storage, and transport. The soft construction protects delicate foliage, stems, and root systems without abrasion or bruising.
Pursell Manufacturing offers two nursery netting product lines — SofNet in polyethylene and Gentlenet in polypropylene — in a range of stock diameters and in both continuous rolls and pre-rucked cartridges for high-volume sleeving operations.

Knitted Polyethylene (PE)
SofNet is Pursell's knitted polyethylene nursery netting. Its soft, pliable mesh is well suited to bagging produce and sleeving plant material where a lightweight, flexible net is needed. SofNet is available in a range of stock diameters and in both roll and pre-rucked cartridge formats.

Knitted Polypropylene (PP)
Gentlenet is Pursell's knitted polypropylene nursery netting and the preferred choice for delicate plants. Polypropylene produces a softer, finer mesh than polyethylene, making it ideal for cut flowers, delicate seedlings, and any application where minimizing contact damage is the priority.

Nursery netting is available in two formats to suit your operation. Continuous rolls work well for manual sleeving and lower-volume applications. Pre-rucked cartridges load directly onto sleeving machines, allowing faster throughput on high-volume packing lines.
